Admitting a Patient
We accept both self-referrals and professional referrals. Once the professional has identified the patient’s possible need for chemical dependency treatment, we ask that the professional contacts our admissions department. Please be ready to provide basic information such as name, address, phone number, date of birth, social security number and insurance information. We will then contact the needed staff for a complete an assessment.
Our admissions department will contact the client’s insurance to verify coverage. We will stay in close communication with the client and the referent to insure that we do all we can to help the client receive the help they need in a timely manner.
After the client has been admitted, we will ask the client to sign the necessary releases to allow us to contact the referent and report on the client's status. If the needed releases are signed we will send progress reports as requested by the referring professional throughout the client's stay. Upon discharge, we will contact the professional for a follow-up visit to insure a smooth transition back into their therapeutic relationship.
